Let the sunshine in
With the brighter months just around the corner, it’s time to let the sunshine into our homes again – and I’m thrilled to introduce you to our new home collections for spring/summer 2015. The four ranges reflect fashion-led trends – from contemporary monochrome to striking floral blooms – with superb design quality, at great value.
This is a look that sums up summer for me: cool and calm with a splash of fun. I especially love the bold patterns and ocean-inspired shades, which bring a contemporary, fresh feel to the collection.
1. Print jug, £12 | 2. Fish soap dish, £3 | 3. Fish tales bath mat, £12
‘With black and white popping up all over the catwalks, it was only going to be a matter of time before it spilled over into the home. We’ve gone beyond a basic black and white look, though, by weaving in complementary shades of grey, natural materials and bold geometic patterns.’
1. Tripod lamp, £45 | 2. Set of two woven baskets, £10 | 3. Nibble bowl, £3
In Bloom collection
‘Floral-inspired interiors are always big news in the warmer months, but we’ve gone a step beyond traditional florals by playing with impressionistic, oversized painterly blooms. In deep, saturated colours they really bring a room to life and look almost like a piece of artwork.’
1. Floral print double bed linen, £18 | 2. Teacup and saucer, £4 | 3. Butterfly print cushion, £5
Country Fair collection
‘I love how these bright, vibrant patterns have been influenced by a trip to a farmer’s market. They really do bring home the spirit of a country fair – I especially love the hand-crafted look and homely feel.’
1. Wild flowers embroidered cushion, £15 | 2. Yellow and grey check throw, £12 | 3. Lemon print platter, £12
