Sainsbury’s six: spring refresh
Out with the old, in with the stylish
Spring has (nearly) sprung and we couldn’t be more excited. It’s time to put away the brushed cotton, swap out the thick blanket and embrace a palette of pastels. It’s what we’re coveting this season. Winter, you’re excused.
Texture, texture, texture
From inlay tables to hand-woven cushions, we’re layering up the texture because even though it’s spring, it’s not warm just yet. We want our homes to feel light but still cosy so neutral and pastel fabrics are the order of the day. Tactile textiles like linen, chambray and sisal will give it just the right amount of boho-y chicness, without sacrificing on comfort.
We’re not in the business of re-painting every room just for spring so our new-season palette comes in the form of bedding, bits and bobs. Geometric prints in soft shades of blush and blue will perk up your bedroom in no time, while tinted glass accessories will add warmth.
Last but not least, the clear choice for giving your space an instant spruce for spring is with some green plants. But we’re not talking your bog-standard fern in a plastic pot. Elevate your plant hoard and take it to new heights with raised planters and hanging pots. Simply watch as your space feels instantly more spring-like.
